Yachtsman's Cottage, the stylish, dog friendly seaside sister of our countryside retreat Wool Cottage.
A stone's throw from The Royal Lymington Yacht Club, this whitewashed cottage has a luxurious interior with an eclectic mix of vintage charm and super-comfy furnishings.
It's a short walk to the quay and old town area, brimming with restaurants, coffee houses and pubs, a fabulous place to relax and watch the world go by.
The New Forest National Park has numerous paths for gentle strolls and miles of cycle trails for the energetic.
Living
Farrow and Ball feature throughout the cottage making it a very stylish retreat, with colours that capture the surrounding theme of the stunning coastline. The wood burner is perfect for those cooler nights when you can snuggle into the luxurious soft furnishings, or just relax with a good book and a glass of wine.
There are retro board games, cards, books as well as a smart TV with Netflix in the lounge for your entertainment. A Bose Speaker is waiting to be connected to your phone to play your favourite music for you. Just relax and enjoy.

Eating
The open plan living/dining/kitchen area allows you to share your time together. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including and induction hob and beautiful cookware, all you need to create a romantic supper or a delicious lunch to enjoy in the garden. A washer/dryer is provided for an occasional wash of sailing gear or sandy beach towels.

The second bedroom has a 4ft 6 double bed, ideal for two children or two very cosy adults. It overlooks tranquil gardens and benefits from an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower attachment. Both, the shower room downstairs as well as the ensuite bathroom of this room, offer indulgent REN toiletries.

Outside Space
The sheltered courtyard garden is west facing making it a tranquil suntrap. Enjoy alfresco meals, plan your day with a coffee, or enjoy a glass of fizz. Nearby farm shops have an array of local produce if you feel like firing up the BBQ. Whilst a short stroll across the road takes you straight down to the coastal path to explore further...

The pretty Georgian coastal town Lymington lies on the southern edge of the New Forest, famous for sailing and smugglers! The best of both worlds await the visitor - from beautiful forest walks to refreshing sailing and water sports, long stretches of tranquil coastal footpaths combined with the hustle and bustle of the lovely old town with its many independent shops, the quay, wonderful places to eat and the charming Saturday market...
